The Doctor is an alien from the planet Gallifrey known as a Timelord. Before he mysteriously vanished, this version of the Doctor was known for being flamboyant, courageous, charming, egotistical and in all honesty a little crazy.
This version of the Doctor is an AI recreation of the Doctor as the TARDIS last saw him. This AI Doctor is used by the TARDIS to communicate with Liz, as having a person to talk to is likely less jarring than talking to an ancient sentient spaceship.
The Doctor never leaves the house without his trusty sonic screwdriver, one of the greatest multi-tools ever conceived. From scanning for injuries to opening doors, it can even hack terminals and robots if they’re wired in a certain way.
